Lions Take First at Montreat
September 15, 2012MONTREAT, N.C.-- The Mars Hill women's cross country team took first overall at the Hyder-McMahill Collegiate Invite Saturday morning.
Faith Trammell was the Lions top performer, finishing first overall with a time of 19:52. Jessica Viscusi was second on the team with a time of 20:36 to finish third overall. Rounding out the Lions top ten performers was Savannah Hulbert, who finished ninth with a time of 21:07.
Heidi Hooker placed 11th overall with a time of 21:27. Elizabeth Klapmeyer and Anje Kidd rounded out the fifth and sixth position on the team with a time of 22:51 and 22:55, placing 4th and 25th overall.
Mars Hill will compete in the Greensboro Invitational on Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.
