SWANNANOA, N.C.-- The Mars Hill men's swimming team defeated Warren Wilson 100-11, but fell to Lenoir-Rhyne 57-56 in a tri-meet at Warren Wilson College Friday evening.
The 200 Medley Team, consisting of Sal Russo, Audley Elder, Scott Scheirey and Seth Greene took first with a time of 1:40.05. Also taking first was the 200 Freestyle Relay team, which was made up of Hudson Tucker, Nathan Diehl, Greene and Trey Mason.
Tucker added a trio of first place finishes in the 50 Back, 50 Free and 100 Free. Russo turned in a pair of wins in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Back.
Elder turned in second place finishes in the 50 and 100 Breaststroke. Scheirey added a second-place finish in the 50 Butterfly.
