MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked fourth in the Southeast Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll that were released today. The Lions are unranked in the national poll for the first time in three weeks but are receiving votes.
Mars Hill (4-2, 1-0 SAC) lost at Young Harris 1-0 and won at home against Wingate 1-0 last week.
Lander tops the regional poll. South Atlantic Conference opponent Anderson is seventh.
Mars Hill travels to USC Aiken on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
